Because it's personal. I know what it's like to be at the bottom reaching for the top, short on cash, short on hope and short on patience. It wasn't that long ago that I was utterly frustrated at my job...working pay check to pay check trying to provide a better life for my family. It was the only way I was taught to make a living, yet it felt like a recipe for failure as I could never seem to get ahead. There always seemed to be another growing need for money, but there was no more money to be made from my job. I had already been working overtime every week and my employer was not giving out raises.

Then the unthinkable happened! I had lost my job due to closure of the facility and was forced to work out of state for a 50% pay cut. My back was against the wall. Not only was I working several hundred miles away from my wife and children, but the income was not sufficient to cover all the expenses and I nearly lost my home to foreclosure. I felt trapped! At the same time, having this dream of being a success vehicle for my wife and children.

So, here's a dose of reality.

I found a better way.. .a smarter way! But not before going through a treacherous path to success.

I'm not sure if you've ever tried a home business (maybe you have, maybe not), but I got involved in several of them in attempt to provide a better life for my family. I did everything I was taught by the person who brought me into the business. You know.... things like buying leads, using business opportunity signs that you place along the side of the road (similar to those "We Buy Ugly Houses" signs), and having conversations with complete strangers that I would meet as I went about my day. Everything I did was a complete waste of time, but it did teach me a valuable lesson. It taught me what did NOT work!

Then one day while sitting in front of my computer, I found the solution to all of my problems. It was that AH-HA moment that completely changed everything in my business and in my life. It was the complete opposite of what everyone was telling me that I should be doing to achieve success.

I couldn't believe it! The answer had been right under my nose all along.

That night I sat down and went to work and almost overnight I had people contacting me about my business and how they can do what I was doing. This was an incedible breakthrough because now I could go about my day and make money in the process. Within 7 days, I had 9 people call my cell phone telling me they had join my team and were ready to conduct business. That was $9000.00 coming into my bank account within a single week. Within a few months, I had nearly doubled my income and was able to walk away from my job and come back home to my family. I was then asked to tell my story from stage at the following company event.

Because of this breakthrough, my life has completely changed.

As I think about all the traveling that I've done over the years (flying to Australia, Cancun, Hawaii a few times, and other places around the globe), everytime I fly in first class, the cabin is ALWAYS FULL, while rows of seats are completely empty in coach. As I think about the $20,000+ trip that I paid cash for to spend a few weeks in Australia with my son and my wife, it irritates the hell out of me to see and hear the kind of junk the media is throwing into peoples lives. Not everyone is hurting, so don't believe all the broke people who tell you otherwise. The truth is... There is plenty to go around
